This time last year I was on a plane headed back from Anaheim, California. I was able to jet off to Disneyland for a few weeks with all of my family. Cousins, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, sisters, parents, you name it! Disneyland in particular is one of my favorite places on earth to visit. Since i was feeling a little down, and missing it today, I thought i would do a bit of a throwback post! So here it goes -
There is such a magical atmosphere as soon as you walk in that makes you forget everything outside the park. The past five years that I've been lucky enough to visit there, it is the happiest I've ever been. There is no possible way to feel anything less than perfect there. Here are a few photos that I took over the course of the stay. Capturing the scenes in photographs hardly do the park justice, but what can you do right?

One night while at California Adventure Park, my sister and I had heard about something called a "Mad Tea Party". Being the curious little buggers we are, we decided to go and check it out. It turned out being one of the most fun things I've ever done. It managed to combine 3 of my favorite things: Dancing, Great Music, and Disney. Life. Made.
California Adventures "World of Color" also happens to take place right after the Mad Tea Party. The World of Color is without doubt one of the best things to experience. All of your favorite Disney music, and classic film scenes are brought to life through water. It's something you have to see at least once in your life to fully understand the happiness and nostalgia it can bring.
Fantasmic is the nightly show that takes place in the Disneyland park. And like everything else there, it's - well...Fantasmic.
Thousands of people come every night, from all over the world, to be in awe of what the imagination is capable of.

The final night at Disneyland. I do this every year - I take my good camera into the park and try to capture the essence of this place the best I can. I can capture colors, and images, and moments- but as a photographer you can't capture the feelings or smells or sounds of the park. If I could spend my life in one place-this would be it. The place where dreams come true, and all your troubles seem to dissapear from your body.
In the words of Walt Disney -
“Here is the world of imagination, hopes, and dreams.
In this timeless land of enchantment, the age of chivalry, magic and make-believe are reborn - and fairy tales come true.
Fantasyland is dedicated to the young-in-heart, to those who that when you wish upon a star, your dreams come true.”
